Admissions
The UWC movement is for those who want to make a difference. We seek outstanding students, regardless of their socio-economic, religious, national, ethnic or cultural background. Joining UWC Atlantic will be life-changing. It will be transformative. But most importantly, it will give you the chance to meet others like you - others wanting to change the world for the better.
How to Apply
Similar to the unique educational experience UWC Atlantic offers, our application process is also different from the norm. Students do not apply to the school directly; instead, there are two different application routes for prospective students.
Global Selection Programme (GSP)
The GSP application route is ideal if you want to apply to a specific UWC school, and you do not require financial assistance.
This application route is managed by the UWC International Office, and you can find more details here. You can apply to a single school or choose up to three schools if you are undecided. Applicants are assessed via a rigorous online process based on the movement's core selection criteria connected to the UWC values. In the initial round students provide written answers to a series of prompts and, if successful, are then invited to an online selection day. This usually entails individual as well as group activities such as presentations or interviews.
Please note that prospective students who choose this route cannot also apply through the National Committee pathway within the same year.
Does this sound like the application route for you?
National Committees (NCs)
UWC has a network of over 150 National Committees worldwide. The national committees (also known as 'NCs') are often run by volunteers — a lot of whom are also UWC alumni! Applications through this route tend to open around late summer or autumn, depending on each country. You can find more details about your national committee, including the eligibility criteria and the application deadline, here.
More than 65% of national committee students are given a full or partial scholarship, ensuring socio-economic diversity on our campus. If your application is successful, your national committee will conduct a financial assessment to determine what scholarship would be best for you based on your financial needs.

Fees and Scholarships
We believe everyone has the right to a quality education; that's why we offer one of the most comprehensive scholarship programmes in the world. If you are interested in attending UWC Atlantic, we encourage you to apply through your National Committee regardless of your financial circumstances. Many of our students selected by National Committees are awarded a full or partial scholarship. You can find more details on fees and scholarships here.
